So yesterday, I had to go to a sleep laboratory because I have sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder where breathing is repeatedly interrupted or becomes shallow during sleep due to a blocked airway. It can lead to symptoms like snoring and daytime fatigue. Treatment involves using a CPAP machine (continuous positive airway pressure) to maintain open airways and improve sleep quality. As part of my treatment, I need to have my machine checked every two years at the hospital, which is why I went there yesterday.
The night was long, and I woke up several times due to chest pain. I finally fell asleep around 2 am and could only leave the hospital at 6 am. To celebrate, I went to a bar and treated myself to a croissant, a cappuccino, and freshly squeezed orange juice. That was my sweet treat of the day.
I’m new to blogging, so I hope to improve in the future and may make some changes to my posts. We’ll see how it goes.
